A few months since the last update and not a lot has changed, but I’ve finally got around to sorting out the (very) annoying conflict issues. Instead of using wp_enqueue_scripts to load jquery, I’m just including it manually into the tinymce plugin popup.
Now we won’t be plagued by compatibility issues from other plugins!! 🙂
I’ve had some feedback about the usability of the interface over the last few months. I’m going to come up with some ideas for making it far easier to use, I’d be very interested in more feedback and ideas on how to improve the popup interface. I’m thinking a complete overhaul, with no sliding and a larger area for selecting items but open to all ideas at this stage. Just comment below or post in the forums (http://blograndom.com/links/forum/).
Get the latest version of the plugin from http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/rb-internal-links/ while its hot.

Thank you so much! I love the plugin but the issues since some other plugins’ upgrades have been driving me to despair!
This plugin is just amazing. You have done great work. My only request would be to have in a text field to populate the ‘title’ portion of the link tag. Would be helpful for the hearing impaired. As in: a href=”{link}” title=”{title}”>link text<
Thanks for yet another first-rate post. I am always looking for awesome WordPress tips to suggest to my clients. Thanks for creating this article. It’s exactly what I was searching for. Truly awesome post.
Love this plugin. Since it’s for internal links, it would be great if it could be made to send pings to any post that’s included…
Great plugin!
Your short code shows up in plain text on search results. Any way to fix this?
Thanks!
Very informative blog. I like your blog because of unique content. thanks for sharing such a useful information.
error when activating on 3.0.1
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STATIC, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /nfs/c07/h02/mnt/100357/domains/test.stepmaniadirectory.com/html/wp-content/plugins/rb-internal-links/rb-internal-links.php on line 56
the same error above. I use wordpress3.0.1 multiple backend.
Thank you to resolve it.
Hi! Thanks for building this plugin, using it gladly.
One Bug: When link text includes an ‘ it is escaped upon inserting the corresponding shortcode; might be true for other characters as well.
One comment: You seem to do a full-text search. While it is certainly nice to have this possibility, I suppose it is overpowered in most cases; in my case it even yields undesired results since I search for title elements. So I suggest you search by default only in titles and tags (is also faster!) and add a checkbox (default: non-checked) to the search form that enables full-text search.
One suggestion: When your dialog opens, we see nothing. Show search form by default!
Another suggestion: Add a top-level entry “Tags” where you give a (searchable?) list of tags with a checkbox each (another, dynamic GUI might be preferable. you get the idea). Next to this list (next sliding level?) show all posts that have the selected tags.
Two other suggestions:
* Search also for pages, not only for posts
* Consider scheduled posts as well, not only published ones
I was so excited to find this plugin, and then so disappointed when I discovered it doesn’t work with Custom Posts… 🙁 Please consider this a feature request for your next release 🙂
Great plug-in, but can’t use it. My site is UTF-8, and all non-Roman letters in post names are screwed 🙁
I am pretty sure a plug-in can read the codeset of the site prior to operating the strings, so at one point of time I was even willing to fork this plug-in and make it Unicode supporting…

Seems your post system has some problem, I just can’t post a comment. why?
Great module , Thank you for you job.
Hi Cohen, thanks for your plugin! It works great. I’ve translated your plugin to italian, so if you want to include the translation in the next realease, you can find it here .
Bye,
Daniele.
thankyou very much for your help
I simply had to say thanks once again. I’m not certain what I could possibly have carried out without those pointers documented by you directly on this theme. It actually was an absolute difficult circumstance in my circumstances, however , seeing the specialized strategy you dealt with that took me to leap for contentment. I’m just thankful for your advice and even have high hopes you really know what a great job you are always putting in instructing some other people through a site. More than likely you’ve never met any of us.
